Hello Arizona Assurance Scholars,

We hope your semester is wrapping up well.  You should have received an email from the Office of Scholarships & Financial Aid detailing changes that will occur next academic year. The most significant change is that program requirements are no longer part of the renewal process

Despite the Arizona Assurance (AZA) scholarship renewal changes, the programs within the Thrive Center are still here to support you.

  • We will continue to offer peer mentoring for first- and second-year plus students free of charge.
  • The professional staff (Brian, Derwin, Fred, and Miranda) will continue to be available to meet with you to support you in navigating institutional policies and procedures, finding connections on campus, or any other questions or concerns you may have.

You can always come to the Thrive Center for more information about campus, to participate in our events, and to connect with other students.

We wish you all the best as you complete the semester, and we hope you have a restful summer break. We’re excited to see you in the fall!
