Issac Marrufo

Peer Mentor

My name is Issac Marrufo (he/him), and I am a junior at the University of Arizona majoring in Public Health with a focus on nursing. I am originally from Tucson, Arizona, and I am a proud first-generation college student. On campus, I am involved with the Residence Hall Association (RHA) and Destination Arizona, where I help foster a welcoming and supportive environment for new Wildcats. I have also served as a Nutrition Preceptor and currently work as a Disability Cart Service Driver. A fun fact about me is that I played competitive soccer in high school. I also received a scholarship for publishing an article about sustainability in University of Arizona residence halls. I am passionate about serving others, building community, and pursuing a future career in nursing and healthcare.
