First Cats Events & Programs
First Cats Wednesdays are monthly opportunities to stay connected to the First Cats community. First Cats Wednesdays promote a sense of pride throughout UArizona's first-gen community and provide valuable information on college finances, self-care during midterms, professional panels, and much more! These are open to first-gen students, faculty, staff, and supporters.
The First Cats Mixer is an annual event and opportunity for students, faculty and staff at the University of Arizona to connect with one another. The First Cats Mixer includes speakers, connections to resources, networking and community building, and food!

Taking place in the Student Success District
National First-Gen Celebration Day is held every year on November 8th. Colleges and universities across the United States celebrate the anniversary of the signing of the Higher Education Act of 1965 by recognizing the first-gen community on their campus.
