First and second year Wildcats, find your college friends and community! Whether you're looking to connect with people who share your interests, come from a similar background as you, or grew-up near you, you're sure to make friends by joining The 50!
ABOUT
The 50 is a way for first and second year students to meet one another. At a university as large as the U of A, it can be challenging to find people and make friends. We're taking the awkwardness out of meeting new people and grouping together students who have a shared interest in connecting. There is no commitment. Just show up to the first meeting, meet some other students, enjoy a snack, and decide if you all want to connect again.
Everything in the Thrive Center is always free to you, including The 50!
REVIEW THE GROUPS
Each group is based on an interest/hobby (games/gaming), a geographical location (want to learn more about Tucson?), or an identity (any other first-gen college students out there?). The groups are a way to bring together students with shared interests. This is not a club! You do not have to participate in that activity together, but you might find you'd like to do that sometimes. It's more of a shared culture or experience that brings you together to meet.
