Today

Even though the TRiO grant has ended, Thrive Center is here for you

Bob McCune, project director for Thrive TRiO Student Support Services, sent out a number of emails with information during July and August to inform participating students that the grant had ended and would not be renewed for a new grant cycle. Although grant has ended, Thrive Center is the home of first-gen programs and will continue to support TRiO students.  There are a number of ways students can benefit from Thrive Center resources (free printing, regular events (sometimes with food), peer mentoring support and Financial Wellness.

Second-year students are encouraged to register for peer mentoring at mentoring.arizona.edu.  Please indicate you were in TRiO on the application, as TRiO students have priority for available seats.

Third-year and fourth-year students have access to a range of options for support during this year.  You see what the options are and make a selection using our online form.  Options include research, internship and experiential learning, grad school and workforce prep training (available later this semester), and a build-your-own-experience option.
