Yáʼátʼééh, shí ʼéí Kyra LeeAnn Long yinishyé, Tsé nahabiłnii nishlį́, Tódikʼǫzhi báshíshchíín, ʼÁshįįhi dashicheii, Nátʼoh Táchiiʼnii dashinálí. Hello, my name is Kyra Long (She/Her/Asdzáán). I am a second year Diné (Navajo) student majoring in Public Health. I am originally from Gallup, NM, which is a bordertown of the Navajo Nation. I am the president of the American Indian and Indigenous Health Alliance (AIIHA). My major focus is to create a safe and welcoming environment at the UA for Native American scholars, since it can be scary and challenging to adjust to a new environment and handle the stress of school, but I am here to support you. Overall, I am excited to be a resource and mentor for Wildcat Warriors as they navigate their first year. Ahe'hee'/Thank You!
