Make a lasting impression
Endowments are permanent funds which provide long-term sources of funding for New Start.
New Start has been instrumental to the success of thousands of Wildcats. The 50th-anniversary campaign is the perfect occasion for you to give back and help students start their Wildcat Journey, just as you once did.
Your donation, gift, pledge, support, investment is their New Start.
Invest in the future of New Start by giving to an endowed fund
Endowed funds support activities not just for one year, or even one generation, but forever. Endowment funds are invested prudently to ensure they can sustain current and future needs.
Your gift to this endowment will assist admitted New Start participants with tuition and fees for New Start or for their freshman through senior year upon successfully graduating from the New Start Summer Program. Scholarships will assist students in the completion of their education in any field of study.
A gift to this scholarship fund helps to ensure that all students who want to participate in New Start have the financial support to do so. It also ensures that any New Start alumni who needs financial assistance to remain enrolled throughout their college career can apply for a New Start student scholarship.
Your gift to this fund will be used to support students in the New Start Summer Program who are facing a crisis of food or housing insecurity.
Students facing homelessness for the time gap between the end of New Start and the beginning of the academic year can apply for funding to cover the cost of on-campus housing for the interim time.
Directly impact a student this summer
Help support the program that started it all.For nearly fifty years, we have been changing lives and helping students succeed at the University of Arizona.
Your gift to the New Start program will help to cover the cost of attending the New Start summer program immediately, as well as any other program-related expenses and operations for the New Start program.
Gifts to this fund have recently been used as scholarship awards for students receiving recognition during the annual academic conference and to provide scholarships for students who miss Pell eligibility but are still unable to pay out of the pocket for New Start.
